Kanpur: Around half a dozen children were injured when their school bus overturned near Babnauti turn on the Bela-Kanpur road in Auraiya on Wednesday morning.Preliminary investigation revealed that the bus suffered a brake failure while approaching the turn, causing it to veer off the road and overturn.Hearing the children’s screams, locals rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation.Police also reached the site after receiving information about the accident and shifted the injured children to a hospital.Circle Officer (Bela) Puneet Mishra said police were gathering details about the circumstances leading to the accident. “No major loss was reported,” he said.
