Kanpur: C3iHub, the Cybersecurity Technology Innovation Hub at IIT Kanpur, and the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for a six-week residential cybersecurity training programme for CISF personnel.The collaboration aims to enhance the technical knowledge, operational preparedness and cybersecurity capabilities of CISF personnel in response to the rapidly evolving cyber threat landscape.The training programme will be offered free of cost and will accommodate 40 CISF personnel in each batch, the institute said.It will cover key areas such as IT and networking, cybersecurity fundamentals, digital forensics, incident response, vulnerability assessment, disaster recovery and business continuity. The programme is aimed at strengthening participants’ understanding of cyber threats and improving their ability to respond to them.
