Prayagraj: Cops on Sunday conducted a verification exercise of miscreants involved in cattle smuggling and slaughter in 12 police stations of trans Ganga and arrested four miscreants.A senior cop told TOI that a total of 33 special police teams were formed to carry out verification of 72 miscreants who were placed under miscreants list involved cattle smuggling and slaughtering. These police teams conducted raids at 80 spots in 12 police station limits and arrested four of them who were still operating their activities.The list of verified miscreants included Soraon (9), Nawabganj (5), Holagarh (6), Tharwai(5), Phaphamau (5), Sarayinayat (4), Phulpur (5), Baharia (4), Mauaima (10), Handia (6), Saraymamrez (5) and Utrav (8).
