Mysuru: Madhuri R, a student of Karnataka Public School, Yelwala, in Mysuru, has scored an outstanding 624 out of 625 in the SSLC examination—without attending any private tuitions.Daughter of a single parent, Madhuri lost just one mark in English grammar and secured centum in all other subjects. She now plans to pursue LLB and build a career in law.Discipline and consistency, she said, shaped her preparation. “I strictly followed my daily routine. Whatever was taught in school, I revised the same day and studied for two to three hours daily. Hard work and discipline always lead to success,” she said, advising juniors to stay focused and consistent. Her mother, Saritha KP, spoke of the decision to move Madhuri from a private school to a government school after class 8 due to financial constraints. “It turned out to be a blessing. The teachers here are excellent, and the quality of education is very good. People should understand that govt schools are not inferior in any way,” she said.Madhuri’s elder brother, a gold medallist in BBA from Banumaiah College, is currently seeking employment.
