Nagpur: Butibori police have arrested a 35-year-old labourer for allegedly murdering a 76-year-old cobbler after a quarrel over payment following a footwear repair at the victim’s shop on Saturday.The accused, Dilip Pawar, was arrested shortly after the incident. The complaint was lodged by the victim’s nephew Puran Bhaiswar (45).According to the complaint, the victim Jaisingh Bhaiswar (76) had repaired Pawar’s footwear.When the elderly man asked for payment, Pawar allegedly picked a fight, abused him and struck him on the head with an iron tool used in cobbler’s work.Jaisingh suffered serious head injuries and was taken to AIIMS, Nagpur, where he died during treatment.
