Vadodara: A seven-year-old boy died tragically after his neck became trapped in the automatic door of a private luxury bus in the Tarsali area of the city on Wednesday.Divyesh Rathwa had stepped out of his house after telling his family that he was going to a nearby temple. Within a few minutes, a neighbour informed the family members that he was lying unconscious near a parked bus.Divyesh’s family members, who are from Chhota Udepur, rushed to the spot and found him unconscious. They immediately took him to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.CCTV footage from a nearby location reportedly showed Divyesh’s neck getting trapped in the automatic door of the bus, which was parked near a garage.Police have registered a case of accidental death and launched an investigation on how the child reached the bus and the circumstances that led to him getting trapped in its door.
