Kanpur: A 52-year-old man allegedly died by suicide by hanging in Bamburiha village under the Maharajpur police station area of Kanpur on Saturday night.According to police, the deceased hanged himself from a ceiling fan at his house.Family members informed police that he had been under extreme stress for the past two days and may have died by suicide due to it.Police called a forensic team for collecting evidence, and the body was later sent for postmortem examination.Sunil Kumar Verma, acting SHO of Maharajpur police station, said further legal action would be taken on the basis of the postmortem report and any complaint lodged by the family.
