Amravati: Four convicts lodged in the open prison at Morshi allegedly submitted fake documents to obtain parole. Morshi police registered offences against the accused on May 8 following a complaint from prison authorities. FIR identified the prisoners as Gajanan alias Vipin Patond, Bhimrao Bankar, Manoj Chavare, and Tufan Yadav.The inmates allegedly cited personal reasons to seek parole. When authorities initiated verification, departments concerned reportedly confirmed no such certificates had been issued.
