Times News NetworkKanpur: As many as 397 women cricketers participated in the first phase of talent hunt for U-23 women cricketers of Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association which concluded here on Monday.The women selection committee comprising Priyanka Shailey, Karishma, Seema and Shweta examined and tested the skills of upcoming cricketers. On day one, 190 cricketers were examined by them while on Monday 207 cricketers from Kanpur, Lucknow and Prayagraj appeared before them.The selectors will soon announce the selected aspirants to participate in the second phase of trials.
