New Delhi: A 38-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle collided with a Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus in east Delhi on Sunday afternoon. The victim, who suffered severe head injuries in the crash, died on the spot, police said.The deceased was identified as Sandeep, a resident of Ghaziabad. Police said he sustained severe head injuries after his two-wheeler collided with a DTC bus and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.According to police, information about the accident was received around 12.05 pm. A police team rushed to the spot in front of the GTB Enclave police station, where the victim was found lying on the road with severe head injuries.His body was later shifted to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital for postmortem, police said.The driver of the DTC bus has been arrested, and further investigation into the accident is underway.(With PTI inputs)
