Mysuru: Three women were rescued and a female suspect arrested after city police raided Silver Cloud Spa and Massage Center on Vinaya Marga in Siddarthanagar, under Nazarbad police limits, following a tip-off about alleged prostitution.The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, received information about alleged illegal prostitution at the spa, following which officers and staff from the CEN Crime Police Station and Nazarbad Police Station recently raided the premises.Police rescued three women who had been drawn into prostitution and provided rehabilitation. The woman manager of the massage centre, who was allegedly running the prostitution racket and collecting money unlawfully, was arrested. A case has been registered at Nazarbad Police Station.The massage centre’s owner, identified as Sandeep, is accused of operating the prostitution business under the guise of a Spa and Massage Centre and illegally collecting money. He is absconding, and efforts are underway to trace him.
