Times News NetworkPanchkula: Police have arrested three persons in the double murder case of a man and his brother-in-law in Sector 19 two days ago. They said the incident was the result of an old dispute between the two. The arrested accused, Vipin, Prem Chand, and Sukhpreet Singh alias Lucky were produced in court and remanded in police custody. They are all residents of Abhaypur. However, even two days after the incident, police are yet to clarify who killed whom and how many were involved.Raids are on to arrest the remaining accused and recover important evidence. SHO,inspector Sombir Dhaka of Sector Police Station said, police received information of Sanjeet’s death after assault on July 4. During investigations at the spot, police found the body of Arjun alias Cheeta, a resident of Kharak Mangoli.Arjun’s sister said her brother had been in a relationship with Sanjeet’s sister for several years, and the two got married in a temple. Later, they started living separately, which led to a dispute between Sanjeet and Arjun. It is alleged that Arjun was invited to a naming ceremony, where Sanjeet and his associates attacked him with sharp-edged weapons and killed him. Sanjeet also lost his life in the clash.
