Nagpur: The cops on Monday arrested three accused and rounded up four minors for the alleged murder of a 28-year-old Aman Khan at a roadside corn stall near Futala Lake on Monday. Aman is a relative of gangster Shekhu Khan who is currently behind bars. The murder has triggered a fear of gang war. The three accused were presented before the court on Tuesday and were remanded seven days custody .Complainant Salman Ishaq Sheikh (35), a resident of Nataraj Society, stated that he along with Mayur Jadhav (34) of Narmada Colony, Shashank Taywade (32) of Friends Colony, and Asad Khan (28) of Utthan Nagar, were eating corn when Lala Pandey (20), started an altercation.Later, Lala called his aides Deepak alias Prince Gupta (19) and Jitendra alias Jangli Pandey (25), to the spot. The two arrived along with four minors. One of the accused, identified as Jangli, allegedly handed a knife to Lala.Lala allegedly stabbed Khan and Mayur Jadhav. Khan succumbed to his injuries at Dande Hospital, while Mayur is undergoing treatment. The other accused assaulted Salman and Shashank with batons. The cops from the crime branch of Gittikhadan police station used technical surveillance and informants’ network to arrest Lala, Jangli, and Deepak. Gittikhadan police also rounded up the four minors involved in the crime. During interrogation, all accused confessed to the crimeand have been sent to a juvenile reform home.
