Kanpur: Three police personnel sustained minor injuries on Sunday morning after a UP 112 emergency response vehicle lost control and skidded into a waterlogged roadside ditch while trying to avoid a fast-moving car in Vishdhan town under Kakwan police station in Bilhaur tehsil of Kanpur. The vehicle overturned, leaving the officers trapped inside, before nearby villagers rescued them.The patrol vehicle was on duty when the driver attempted to steer clear of an oncoming car, causing the vehicle to overturn and leave the officers trapped inside.After hearing about the accident, nearby villagers hurried to the scene and managed to rescue the three policemen by opening the vehicle’s doors and windows.The Vishdhan police outpost was notified, and officers soon arrived at the location.The damaged vehicle was later removed with the help of a tractor belonging to a local villager.
