Prayagraj: Kaushambi police on Sunday arrested three people in Chak Khudayaganj murder case. The accused— Ramdas Patel, Ram Kishore Prajapati and Manmohan Singh Rajput, residents of Soraon and Kaushambi, respectively— confessed to killing a 55-year-old man in the village on Friday and dumping his body near a field.The prime accused, Ramdas Patel, confessed that he doubted that Ram Murat stole his crop and exchanged heated arguments. After consuming liquor, the victim Ram Murat arrived at Ramdas Patel’s field on March 12, and asked him to return his crop.The accused, in a fit of rage, attacked him with a flat pan killing him on the spot. He then, with the help of his accomplices, dumped the body in another field and fled. tnn
