Lucknow: The city experienced mild tremors on Friday morning after a 3.7 magnitude earthquake struck near Lucknow, causing brief vibrations in several areas.No casualties or damage to property were reported from Lucknow or adjoining districts.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the earthquake occurred at 7.32 am. The epicentre was located in Gonda district, north of Lucknow, around 10 km underground.Light tremors were reported from localities including Gomtinagar, Aliganj, Indiranagar, Rajajipuram, and areas along Faizabad Road. Residents, particularly those living in multi-storey apartments and high-rise buildings, said they felt floors and walls shake for a few seconds. TNN
