Kanpur: As many as 26 top bridge pairs from across the country will compete in the 25th edition of the All-India Sir Padampat Singhania Memorial Invitational Pairs Bridge Tournament-2026, to be held at the Cawnpore Club from Feb 20 to 22.The tournament is being organised by the Sir Padampat Singhania Sports Foundation for the 25th consecutive year. The organisers have announced several new initiatives to mark the silver jubilee edition of the event.

Organising secretary Jitendra Awasthi said that the foundation will formally launch ‘MyBridge360′ (www.mybridge360.com), a digital platform, during the inaugural ceremony on Feb 20. The platform will provide news, updates, information of upcoming tournaments across the country, partner-matching functionality, digitised tournament registration, digital scoring, and live result tracking.Live scores of the tournament will also be available on the MyBridge360 platform and will be broadcast live on Bridge Base Online (BBO), said Awasthi.Awasthi also announced a 33% increase in the total prize moneyand said that the top 13 pairs will receive cash awards.Tournament director VK Sharma said that pairs from Rabidpura village in Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh, women’s team from Vidyapati village and Krishna Gujjar will be a special attraction.Technical officer Gajendra Singh said that 26 elite pairs will compete across 13 tables in 25 rounds of play, with 6 boards per round in an all-play-all format. .Deputy managing director of JK Cement Ltd Ajay Kumar Saraogi will inaugurate the event in the presence of president of the Bridge Federation of India Prasad Keni and chairman of Kailashpat Singhania Sports Foundation Anil Kumar Agarwal.
