Nagpur: A 21-year-old man allegedly died by suicide at his residence in Bhandewadi on Tuesday after a neighbour accused him of stealing Rs3,000, police said.The deceased, Honey Nirmalkar, was reportedly involved in an argument with his neighbour following the allegation. Police are probing whether the dispute led to his death.According to police, Nirmalkar was under mental stress and had a habit of consuming alcohol. PI Nitin Charade told TOI that Nirmalkar had consumed alcohol before the incident. He had also allegedly argued with his mother and told her that he would kill himself.The following day, Nirmalkar was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his residence. Family members and neighbours alerted the police, who initiated an inquiry.Police are examining the events leading up to the incident, including the alleged theft accusation and the argument between Nirmalkar and his neighbour.
