Times News NetworkKanpur: A private sleeper bus travelling from Maudaha (Hamirpur) to Delhi overturned after going out of control on the Dholpur Kheda overbridge in the Jaswantnagar police station area of Etawah late Thursday night. About 55 passengers were on board and were heading to Delhi.About 20 passengers were injured in the accident. Of them, 4 were referred to Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences Saifai after their condition turned serious. There was no loss of life in the accident, police said.According to police, about 55 passengers had boarded bus number UP-75 CT-6005 from Maudaha and were travelling to Delhi. As soon as the bus reached the Dholpur Kheda overbridge, the driver dozed off, causing the bus to lose balance. The bus first hit the divider and then overturned. After the accident, screams broke out among the passengers on board the bus.The injured passengers were given first aid at the CHC while the four seriously injured were referred to Medical University Saifai for better treatment.
