Prayagraj: Pratapgarh police on Sunday arrested two miscreants identified as Mohd Raees and his brother Mohd Anees, residents of Kaima village on the charges of assaulting and threatening a power department official and obstructing government work.The incident occurred on Saturday while a Junior Engineer was at the power sub-station located at Hathigawan. Mohd. Raees and Anees along with an unidentified individual arrived at power sub station and obstructed the work. The accused not only assaulted the public servant but also threatened him of dire consequences.Based on the JE’s complainant, a case was registered at the Hathigawan police station under the sections of 115(2), 352, 351(3), 121(1), 132 of the BNS. However, cops managed to arrest both the prime accused and said that efforts are underway to identify another accused involved in the incident. eom
