BAHADURGARH: The mysterious deaths of two employees of a private hospital in Bahadurgarh have sent shockwaves through the area, with the victims’ families alleging foul play and demanding a fair and impartial probe. Police have registered a case against Oscar Hospital and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the deaths. The deceased have been identified as Sachin, who worked as a nursing staff member at the hospital, and Vikas, who was employed in the technical/laboratory department. Both had reportedly been working at Oscar Hospital for around one to two years.According to a complaint filed by Rakesh, a resident of Bohar village in Rohtak district, the two men reported for duty at the hospital on September 14, 2026, and were apparently in good health at the time.Family members tried repeatedly to contact Vikas and the hospital staff between 8pm and 10pm but received no response. Their concerns deepened when, around 12.44am, Rakesh received a call from a person using the mobile number of an acquaintance of Sachin. He was reportedly informed that Vikas and Sachin were unwell and was asked to reach Oscar Hospital immediately.Rakesh subsequently reached the hospital along with a friend. According to the family, Vikas was found dead in a room on the first floor of the hospital. Sachin’s family had already taken him away from the hospital by then, and his relatives came to know about the deaths around the same time. The victims’ relatives have levelled serious allegations against the hospital management, claiming that the two employees had allegedly not been paid their salaries for nearly a year. The family further alleged that the employees would frequently have heated arguments with the hospital management whenever they raised the issue of pending wages.Based on these circumstances, the family has alleged that the deaths were not natural and expressed suspicion that the two men may have been killed. They have sought a thorough investigation and strict action against anyone found responsible. The complaint also contains another allegation. The family has claimed that Bharat, a cousin of Sachin who was employed at Oscar Hospital in Panipat, had also died at the hospital in the past, allegedly amid a dispute over non-payment of salary. This claim, too, is part of the allegations made by the family and is yet to be independently established.Bahadurgarh City Police Station SHO Rakesh Kumar said a case has been registered against Oscar Hospital and that the investigation is underway. The SHO said a forensic team was called to the spot and examined the scene for relevant evidence. The bodies have not yet undergone postmortem examination.“The postmortem examination is yet to be conducted. Once the postmortem report and the forensic team’s findings are received, further action will be taken on the basis of the evidence. The investigation is continuing,” the SHO said.Police are examining all possible angles to establish the exact circumstances and cause of the deaths. The final cause of death is expected to become clearer after the postmortem examination, forensic analysis and further investigation. For now, the deaths of two hospital employees at the same premises, coupled with allegations of unpaid salaries and suspected foul play, have raised several questions. The police investigation and forensic findings are likely to determine what led to the deaths and whether anyone was responsible.
