Chatra: Two miscreants were arrested on Sunday on charges of stealing solar panels installed at a govt water tower at the Lawalong block headquarters last Thursday, Lavalong police said.The accused were identified as Sunil Yadav of Chani village and Shravan Kumar Sahu of Bandu village, both in their thirties, police added.The officer in-charge of the Lawalong police station, Chandan Kumar, said, “Acting on a tip-off, police detained the two accused from their villages for interrogation. Based on their confessions, the stolen solar panels were recovered. They were produced before a court, which remanded them to judicial custody. Probe is under way to find out if the two accused were involved in similar thefts.”
