Kanpur: Police on Friday took two accused into custody for allegedly misbehaving with a female nursing staff member of a private hospital in the Singhpur area under the Bithoor police station limits on July 28.According to reports, the nurse, a native of Kannauj, was returning home after work when some miscreants travelling in an SUV passed lewd comments at her. To avoid legal hassles, she did not file a complaint. However, after police learnt about the incident through the hospital management, a case was registered against five unidentified miscreants on the complaint of the Singhpur outpost in charge.Bithoor police scanned CCTV footage from the spot and nearby routes, took two youths into custody, and interrogated them. A manhunt is underway to nab the remaining accused.
