Prayagraj: Two persons died in a road accident when a speeding truck rammed into a parked trailer truck near Kasia village on the Kanpur-Varanasi highway in Kaushambi district late Monday night, police said.The accident also caused a jam-like situation for about 30 minutes. Police said the trailer travelling to Prayagraj from Kanpur developed a technical snag, following which its driver parked it at the roadside. When he was busy fixing the fault at the rear end of the vehicle, a speeding truck rammed into the trailer, injuring the driver. The truck driver too suffered critical injuries. Police said both drivers were taken to hospital where they died during treatment.
