Bihar’s SCERT is excited to announce the upcoming NIPUN TLM Mela 3.0, a vibrant two-day fair featuring groundbreaking educational tools curated by 282 talented teachers from every corner of the state. This event aims to revolutionize foundational literacy and numeracy by emphasizing playful, hands-on learning experiences.

Patna: A two-day state-level NIPUN Teaching Learning Material (TLM) Mela 3.0 organised by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) began on Tuesday, featuring 282 selected teachers from all 38 districts.The event serves as a platform for educators to demonstrate experimental teaching aids across subjects, including language, mathematics, science, and environmental studies, to improve foundational literacy and numeracy.Director of primary education Vikram Virkar inaugurated the fair and emphasised the requirement for teachers to implement illustrated and innovative teaching methods in classrooms. He said that the primary objective of the exhibition is to ensure clarity and objectivity in children’s education, adding that teachers hold the responsibility for shaping the future of students.The participant group includes 64 environmental science teachers, followed by Hindi (56), English (51), Urdu (43), and mathematics (43). These educators are presenting materials such as alphabets, numbers, geometric shapes, and children’s literature designed to introduce concepts through play-based learning.A judging panel is currently evaluating the displays to select and reward the most effective teaching materials. The inauguration was attended by SCERT joint director Sushma Kumari, nodal officer Vibha Rani, and other officials from the department.
