Ramgarh: Around 10,000 bottles of expired soft drinks seized during a recent inspection drive were destroyed by the Ramgarh district food safety department at a dumping yard on Thursday following directions from Deputy Commissioner Rituraj. Food safety officer Ehsan Manzar said, “No negligence will be tolerated in matters related to food products.” Officials warned traders to regularly verify the quality and expiry dates of products stocked for sale. The district administration said its crackdown on adulterated and expired food products will continue across the district.
