Churachandpur: One KNA-B (Burma) cadre was apprehended in the Zoveng locality of Churachandpur on Thursday.According to reports received from the Assam Rifles, the cadre has been identified as Lal Thang John, a resident of Zouveng. He had earlier gone to Myanmar to join KNA(B). A source said the cadre had reportedly infiltrated back from Myanmar to Churachandpur and was likely to move towards the Ukhrul-Litan axis to create unrest in the region.Meanwhile, the Churachandpur district police arrested one person identified as Nehkholun Hangsing (45) of K Sharonphai village with three gunny bags containing 118 soap cases of brown sugar weighing 1,360 grams.
