CISCE conducted two-day Zonal Professional Development Programme (ZPDP) in Mathematics for ICSE teachers on Oct 9 and 10, at St. Xavier’s School, Dhurwa. School principal Rajesh Pillai congratulated the teachers on the recognition and appreciated their dedication to teaching and guiding students.Mental health weekSurendranath Centenary School observed Mental Health Week from Oct 6 to 10 with activities promoting emotional well-being. Students participated in awareness sessions on bullying, cyber hygiene and drug abuse, along with emotion-based activities.Krate belt grading testAs many as 91 students of DPS Bokaro cleared a karate belt grading test conducted by the Tenshinkan Shotokan Ryu Karate Federation of India. Of them, 21 students were from the senior wing and 70 from the primary wing.Hindi poetryMECON Ltd organised a Hindi poetry recitation competition for students of Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shyamali, on Oct 6 as part of its Hindi Month celebrations. Students recited original works and poems by renowned poets.Grandparents’ DayDAV Public School, Hehal, organised Grandparents’ Day on Oct 10, with over 500 grandparents of students from nursery to Class III attending the event.
