Kanpur: Yugum International School maintained its lead and emerged as champion in Zone A , two-day KSS Inter-school chess championship (class VI to VIII) which concluded here at Delhi Public school Kalyanpur on Thursday..Yugum School collected highest 19 points after fifth and final round while Sir Padampat Singhania Edcuation Center stood as second runner-up with 15 points and Sri Sanatan Dharm Education Center got third place with 10 points. Vania Singh, Shanaya Gupta, Chavi, Trisha Tiwari and Ekveera Shukla were board performers from board 1 to 5, respectively.Director Shahina Amin congratulated the winners and presented them medals and trophies. Principal of the host school Richa Prakash presented certificates to the winners and participants.
