Kalaburagi: A group of 15-20 people have been booked for allegedly attacking a youth who offered a ride to his colleague in a suspected case of moral policing. Police filed charges at MB Nagar station against individuals who attacked a youth for offering a ride to a woman on his motorcycle while behaving like unauthorised moral enforcers.Baillappa, 21, a nursing staff member, was the victim of the assault. Baillappa and his female colleague work at Shabdi Hospital. The female colleague requested him for a lift as she was unable to find an auto-rickshaw.When Baillappa halted his motorcycle to drop the colleague, the group assaulted him. Due to severe injuries sustained during the attack, Baillappa is receiving treatment at the district hospital in the city.Following his complaint, a case was filed at the MB Nagar Police Station in Kalaburagi Nagar.
