Samba, Sept 6: A large number of youth, political workers and local residents joined the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) at Diani Panchayat in Samba district on Sunday, the party said.

The joining programme was organised by Sanju Padha and Roshan Padha under the leadership of Thakur Mohinder Singh.

Those who joined the party included Sanju Padha, Roshan Padha, Gibbs Padha, Sumit Padha, Lavish Padha, Aryan Padha, Raju Padha, Pankaj Padha and Pranav Padha, besides several workers associated with different political parties and local residents.

Addressing the gathering, Balbir Singh, Bua Dutta and Rajeshwer Singh welcomed the new entrants into the National Conference.

Mohinder Singh said the growing support for the party reflected increasing faith in the National Conference and its commitment to the welfare and development of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

He assured the gathering that genuine issues concerning Diani and its residents would be raised on appropriate platforms and efforts would be made to seek their resolution with the concerned authorities.

Singh also urged the new members and party workers to remain connected with the people and work collectively to strengthen the National Conference at the grassroots level.

Several party workers and local residents, including Kainaat Singh, Yash Pal Sharma, Happy Singh Sambyal, Bahadur Singh, Chain Singh, Janak Singh, Sant Kumar, Vansh, Hansaa, Mohit and Shivam, were present on the occasion.
