Ranchi: The body of a young woman, estimated to be around 21-year old, was found stuffed in a sack on the Tigga river bank under a bridge on the Kara-Lodhma-Dhurwa Road in Khunti district on Saturday, police said.Locals spotted the sack and alerted police. The deceased was wearing a shirt and trousers, and her body was smeared with refined wheat flour. The body was sent for post-mortem examination, police added.Officer in-charge of the Karra police station Raju Kumar said, “Prima facie, it seems that the victim was killed somewhere else and dumped here. Efforts are under way to identify her on the basis of missing persons reported in nearby police stations. Her picture has also been circulated on social media platforms.”
