Gorakhpur: Taking note of complaints related to illegal occupation of land, chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday instructed officials to get encroached properties freed and initiate strict legal action against land grabbers.During Janata Darshan at Gorakhnath Temple, the CM heard the grievances of nearly 200 people, assuring them that their issues would be resolved promptly. He said officials should safeguard land belonging to the poor and take strict legal action against any attempt to encroach upon it.Interacting individually with complainants, Yogi directed officials to address every grievance with sensitivity and ensure time-bound and transparent disposal of cases. He assured people that no genuine complaint would be ignored.Several people also sought financial assistance for the treatment of serious illnesses. He said eligible patients would receive assistance for treatment from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund.The chief minister reiterated that the administration should remain responsive to public concerns and ensure that every grievance is addressed effectively.
