Lucknow: During a meeting with citizens at Monday’s Janata Darshan, chief minister Yogi Adityanth received a complaint related to a builder who has reportedly cheated buyers.The complainant informed the CM that the builder, active in Ghaziabad, Meerut and Noida, has registered the same flat in the names of several people.The CM immediately directed concerned officials to look into the matter. “If the builder is found guilty during the inquiry, ensure strict action is taken against him and justice is delivered to the victims,” the CM said.During Monday’s Janata Darshan, the CM received several complaints related to cheating and encroachments. “Upon receiving a complaint against encroachment, investigate each case strictly and stringent action should be taken against those found guilty. There is no place for criminals in UP. The police should take strict action against people who threaten others,” the CM added.There were also cases where persons who had encroached upon someone’s land were also issuing threats to them. The CM forwarded these complaints to the concerned officials and directed them to take immediate action. Stating that there was no place for criminals in the state, the CM said that action should be taken against such persons. He also instructed officials to expedite investigations into cases related to crime and illegal encroachment so that victims receive timely justice and the guilty are punished.
