Noida: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has floated a request for proposal (RFP) to empanel an advertising agency to manage its outdoor publicity as the region prepares for increased commercial activity following the operationalisation of Noida International Airport and other major projects.The selected agency will oversee branding campaigns, outdoor advertising, event management and communication initiatives for an initial period of two years, extendable by one year based on performance.Additional chief executive officer Rajesh Kumar said bids wereinvited for the assignment. The agency will install hoardings, banners, posters, illuminated signages and exhibition displays, besides organising seminars, conferences and promotional events.It may also provide foreign-language translation services for official campaigns and investor outreach, as YEIDA has been receiving investment proposals from countries including Japan and South Korea.The last date for submitting bids is July 15, while technical proposals will be opened on July 17.According to YEIDA, it has allotted 3,175 industrial plots, with lease deeds executed for 2,495. Land possession has been handed over in 1,785 cases, building plans approved for 716 plots, 314 units are under construction and nearly 92 are operational.Officials said the airport’s opening and rising traffic along the Yamuna Expressway are expected to increase demand for outdoor advertising, particularly along the airport corridor and adjoining industrial sectors.Separately, YEIDA has initiated the process of appointing a social media agency to manage its presence on platforms including Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.The twin initiatives are aimed at strengthening the authority’s public outreach and investor communication as infrastructure and industrial development gathers pace in the Yamuna Expressway region.
