Srinagar, Aug 7 : The Jammu and Kashmir Government has placed Yameen-ul-Nabi, presently serving as Assistant Commissioner, Food Safety, Srinagar, as In-charge Deputy Commissioner, Food Safety (ICLC), Kashmir.
The order was issued by the Health & Medical Education Department under Government Order No. 614-JK(HME) of 2026, dated August 7, 2026.
Yameen-ul-Nabi has been given the responsibility as part of a stop-gap arrangement, for a period of six months or until the vacancy is filled on a regular basis, whichever is earlier.
The new responsibility places him in a key position overseeing food safety administration in the Kashmir region. (KNS)
