Mangaluru: Xpheno, a leading specialist staffing firm, in partnership with the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM), on Wednesday released the ‘Silicon Beach Skills – Annual Edition 2’ report, which provides a detailed overview of the talent and skill landscape of Udupi and Mangaluru cluster. The report was released during the sixth edition of Mangaluru Technovanza, held at the Dr TMA Pai International Convention Centre on Wednesday.The report covers comprehensive analysis of the Udupi-Mangaluru region’s emerging tech talent pool and its potential to drive growth in India’s digital economy. The objective of the report is to make the rich and diverse talent pool of ‘Silicon Beach’ visible to global capability centres (GCCs) across the world, with the focused ecosystem initiatives of the govt of Karnataka.This Beyond Bengaluru initiative also has growing interest from local and global enterprises. As Insight partner for the report, Xpheno leveraged its deep expertise in talent acquisition and market intelligence to contribute key insights and data to the report.The findings underscore the region’s strengths as a “Talent Triangle,” extending beyond the coastal stretch and encompassing a 2,80,000+ potential talent pool. The budget is not the only avenue for mobilising resources. We are looking beyond the budget as well. There are various ways to mobilise funds, including through public-private partnerships,” he said.
