Xiaomi 17 Ultra is launching today in India and after a global tour, the new flagship lineup is finally ready to enter our shores. As you might know, Xiaomi introduced the new 17 series flagship phones in China back in September last year and for global markets it was announced last month. The wait has been unusually long to see these devices announced in India but that day has finally come.
In just a few hours from now we’ll see the Xiaomi 17 series unveiled by the company in India, where the 17 Ultra will obviously grab most of the attention.

Xiaomi 17 launched in China sports a 6.3-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage that are paired with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The new phone gets Android 16-based HyperOS 3 version out of the box.
It has a 50MP triple camera system with Leica-tuned lenses. And finally you have a 7,000mAh battery this year supported by 100W wired and 50W wireless charging speeds but the global variant could have different specs.
Xiaomi 17 series price in India, as hinted by a tipster previously, could be higher than what the brand charged for its 15 series models. The Xiaomi 17 is tipped to be priced around Rs 1,00,000 while the Xiaomi 17 Ultra might cost over Rs 1,25,000 which takes it into the real premium Ultra segment in the country.
It is not certain that Xiaomi will price its new flagships in this range but all signs, including the ongoing memory price hike, hints at a definite increase from the previous models.
