Apple Worldwide Developers Conference 2026 or WWDC 2026 will begin on June 8, with the iPhone-maker expected to unveil major software updates and new Apple Intelligence features. The company’s annual developer event will start with a keynote presentation on June 8 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time and 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Like last year, WWDC 2026 will mainly be held online, though Apple will invite selected developers, students and media members to Apple Park in Cupertino, California. The event is expected to focus heavily on artificial intelligence upgrades, including a smarter version of Siri and new AI tools across Apple devices.

One of the biggest expected announcements at WWDC 2026 is a major Siri upgrade powered by Apple Intelligence.Reports suggest Siri may finally gain features Apple first announced during the iOS 18 cycle, including personal context awareness, the ability to understand what is on the screen and deeper integration between apps.Apple is also expected to introduce a chatbot-style version of Siri that could work similarly to AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude. The company may redesign Siri’s interface and reportedly launch a standalone Siri app for the first time.

According to reports, the Camera app could gain a dedicated Siri-powered Visual Intelligence section, while the Photos app may receive AI editing tools. Similarly, Apple Wallet is also expected to add an option to scan physical passes and create digital versions.According to reports, iOS 27 may also focus on performance, stability and battery improvements alongside new AI features.
