Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida highlighted the growing role of women in Odisha’s economic transformation. The government provides Rs 99.26 crore towards interest subvention for 1.79 lakh Self-Help Groups. This initiative aims to create new livelihood opportunities and empower women-led enterprises. A significant budget of Rs 575 crore has been allocated for the 2026-27 financial year. Various partnerships have been formed to promote green entrepreneurship within women SHGs.
