Jaipur: A 40-year-old man was allegedly stabbed multiple times by his live-in partner in Jaipur’s Khorabeesal area, police said Saturday, adding that FIRs were registered from both sides.Police said the man told investigators on Friday that the woman attacked him on April 18 and that he has been in hospital since then. He reached a hospital with the help of an acquaintance and later recorded his statement.The man sustained injuries to his chest and abdomen and is being treated at a private hospital.Officials said the two were living together after becoming friends on Instagram about five years ago.The woman also filed a complaint on Friday, alleging the man frequently returned home drunk, assaulted her and harassed her. She claimed she attacked him “in a fit of anger” after prolonged harassment.Khorabeesal police said they are investigating both complaints and verifying the sequence of events.
