Vadodara: An argument over lunch led to a 30-year-old man being stabbed to death by his wife. Amit Devipujak was allegedly killed by his wife, Manju, at their residence in Kumbharwada area on Monday afternoon. Police arrested Manju and registered a case of murder against her.According to police, Manju had cooked food and served it to Amit, who is a labourer. Amit refused to eat the food and this upset Manju. The two got into an argument. A furious Amit first struck Manju on the head. She then picked up a bladed weapon and stabbed him in the chest and head. Amit collapsed on the spot and died. The neighbours learned of the murder and called the police. Police arrested Manju from the spot, as she didn’t attempt to flee. The couple have two children. Police are investigating if the couple had marital discord over other reasons too.
