Jharsuguda: A 36-year-old woman, died after she was run over by a Hydra vehicle near Boxi Chowk under Jharsuguda Sadar police station limits on Friday evening. Police identified the deceased as Laxmi Bhoi (36) of Suldiapara. The accident took place when Laxmi was crossing the road. The accident led to tension as locals gathered at the spot. Police personnel pacified them. Police sent Laxmi’s body to the district headquarters hospital (DHH), Jharsuguda, for autopsy while her injured daughter is undergoing treatment.
