Bokaro: A woman was allegedly drugged and robbed of gold jewellery worth around Rs 3 lakh after two youths posing as tea sellers entered her house in Chas, police said on Tuesday. The incident took place at Shiv Shakti Nagar on Nala Road.Police said the suspects allegedly engaged Heeramani Devi in conversation and made her consume a substance that left her unconscious. Her husband, who has hearing difficulties, was reportedly distracted by the duo.The accused fled with gold earrings, a chain and other ornaments. “We are analysing CCTV footage and questioning local residents to identify the accused,” ASP Vedant Shankar said.
