Gurgaon: A 32-year-old woman died after an SUV allegedly hit her near Kadipur Chowk on Thursday evening.The Scorpio driver fled, leaving the victim critically injured. Passers-by and local residents rushed Suman Saini to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead.Suman from Mustafabad village — who lived in Sector 10 — was returning home when she stopped by the roadside around 7pm, police said, adding she was waiting near a parked scooter when the speeding Scorpio entered the stretch from the wrong side and crashed into her. The collision threw her onto the road.After receiving information, a team from Sector 10 police station reached the spot and shifted her body for autopsy. A case was registered against the unidentified driver under relevant sections of BNS. Police are examining the CCTV footage from Kadipur Chowk and adjoining roads.
