Jaipur, Jan 27 (IANS) Four people were killed, and one was injured after a speeding car rammed into the rear of a truck on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Rajasthan’s Dausa district on Tuesday.

Bokaro: A 34-year-old woman died on the spot, while her husband and two children were injured after a trailer allegedly rammed their motorcycle on NH –23 under Sector 12 police station limits on Friday evening.The deceased was identified as Pushpa Devi (34), a resident of Sector 3. The accident took place around 5.30 pm near Bari Cooperative Moad she was returning from her parents’ home in Baridih in Jaridih block of the district.Madan Kumar, a relative of Pushpa, said the trailer hit the bike and flung the riders on the road. “Pushpa died on the spot, while her husband, Rajesh Kumar, sustained serious injuries and was admitted to a nearby hospital. The couple’s two children also suffered injuries and are undergoing treatment. The children are out of danger,” Kumar said.Locals blocked the NH-23 soon after the incident, leading to traffic congestion that lasted hours. A Police inspector on the spot said, “Efforts are on to trace the truck driver.”
