Keonjhar: A 65-year-old woman was killed and two others injured after a suspected firecracker explosion inside a house at Manapur village under Harichandanpur police limits in Keonjhar district on Sunday evening. The deceased was identified as Pratima Sahu. The injured, Aparajita Sahu, a member of the family, and Ajit Mahakud, a youth who was visiting the family, were initially treated at Harichandanpur hospital. A scientific team and a bomb detection squad visited the spot on Monday for forensic examination.
