Kolkata: A 40-year-old woman was arrested for leading a robbery in which the victim had been tied up at her own house. Cops have recovered the stolen gold jewellery worth lakhs within days of the robbery in the Rajabagan area.Accused Sultana Begum, alias Rosy, is a resident of SA Farooque Road. According to cops, the incident took place at the Nadial Road residence of 67-year-old Rokeya Begum around 5.50 pm on July 10, when she was alone in her first-floor room. The accused overpowered the elderly woman and shut her mouth with cellotape before making off with a gold neck chain and two gold bangles, weighing approximately 80 g in total.
