Kanpur: A woman from the Awas-Vikas area filed a complaint against her Noida-resident husband and his YouTuber associate for allegedly conspiring to defame her by making a fabricated video titled ‘Luteri Dulhan’ go viral on social media.According to the report filed at Naubasta police station, Nidhi Sharma, a resident of Naubasta Awas-Vikas 3, had a dispute with her husband, Himanshu Sharma, who lived in Noida.She alleged that he paid Rs 20,000 to Prayagraj-resident YouTuber Praveen Kumar Dubey and asked him to make an audio-video viral to defame her.The report stated that the YouTuber demanded Rs 50,000 from her in exchange for not doing so.Fearing defamation, she sent Rs 17,000 via UPI on different dates. It was alleged that when she did not pay more money, the YouTuber made a fabricated video titled ‘Luteri Dulhan’ go viral on social media. Naubasta inspector Bahadur Singh said that the allegations were being investigated. tnn
