Kanpur: A 26-year-old woman, Lakshmi Vishwakarma, ended her life after a dispute with her husband, in Kalyanpur police station area on Thursday, police said.Her husband Mohit Katiyar, a resident of Sikandara, works as a driver. He left for duty after an argument with his wife. On getting no response to his calls he asked his wife’s friend Pooja to check. Finding the doors locked, Pooja peeped through the window and found Lakshmi’s body hanging from a noose. She informed the landlord and the police.Station in-charge Santosh Kumar Singh said,”The body has been sent for postmortem and further legal proceedings are underway.”Police said the couple had married about 6 months ago and took the room on rent on March 8. tnn
